"WTF"

 Saw this thing coming out of Ralph's on Beverly and Doheny. I tried to find the guy who owns/built/rides the bike, but no dice. I always dig when someone goes waaay out of the box to build something different than the norm. Reminds me of a Mad Max or Burning Man cycle. If you own, built or ride this thing, give me a shout. I'd love to know more...

Spent some time working in Palm Desert this week. Came across these photo ops:

In my mind, these are a bunch of 1% ers being escorted out of a small sleepy town that "doesn't want any trouble." In reality, it's a group of recent retirees who just rented those HDs for a ride to Joshua Tree. They just so happen to be behind one of the only cops cars I noticed in town. Hummm.

Best name for a bike shop. Straight to the point. They sell mostly street and dirt bike gear. Great guys doing their thing in the desert. Stop by. Highway 11.

TRANSITIONS

Went to pick up a 23 from Buddy at Transitions Sk8 Saturday night. Love these guys. Offered me a cold PBR quicker than I could say hi... and I stayed all night. Buddy has one the cleanest cone Shovels I've seen, painted by Sonny. He also just picked up a beautiful, untouched '66 from NorCal... and it came with a sidecar! Rad. Thanks for the Kim K, Bud! We'll see you guys for the ride down to BF!
